Mr Chanh Trinh, a service technician with McGrath Volkswagen Liverpool, was named Best Volkswagen Technician in Australia at the recent national final of the Service Qualification World Championship held in Sydney on September 9.

At the final the top 6 technicians and top 6 service advisors in Australia were put through a series of tasks to determine the best in the country. Chanh will now be representing his country in the world finals in Wolfsburg, Germany next year.

Chanh has been a consistent finalist in the Championships, coming second twice and third in previous years. This year, having passed both rounds of the online questionnaire Chanh, once again, secured a spot as one of the six top Technicians in Australia. After demonstrating his skill and knowledge through the multitude of tasks, Chanh achieved top marks to become the Best Volkswagen Technician in Australia.

McGrath Volkswagen Liverpool Dealer Principal, Sash Corbeski, said that "this award is a real testament to the commitment and dedication that Chanh has put in over the years".
