Design

Performance
the Golf Cabriolet's responsive 118kW TSI petrol engine is bound to blow you away. Choose from the 6 speed manual trasmission, or the optional 7 speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG). Technology
For those who love gadgets, the Golf Cabriolet has plenty; Bluetooth connectivity and Multifunction Display come as standard. And for up and coming international spies there's the option of satellite navigation, a rear-view camera, Bi-Xenon headlights and LED daytime driving lights. The only thing it doesn't do is solve a Rubik's Cube.

Safety
It's no surprise the new Golf Cabriolet has an ANCAP 5 Star safety rating. It has a clever active rollover protection system that instantly deploys two metal bars behind the passenger seat if the car rolls.
